How do I book a session?

Please complete the CONTACT FORM. It will immediately email & text you my detailed pricing information. As well as a link to my calendar with my up to date availability. Please feel free to call/text/email with any questions once you have complete the contact form.

What is included with my session fee?

The session fee covers booking & shooting of the session.
All digital files, prints & products are sold separately from the session fee.
In approximately 1-3 weeks I will send over an online gallery for you to review the images for 15 days. If you need help in selecting images or would like to see images on the wall (YES, I really can do that) then we can set up a Zoom design meeting to put a print order together.

Do you sell digital files?

Yes, the Digital Files are sold via a digital download or they are complimentary with print purchase over $2,600. Please complete the CONTACT FORM for more information & detailed pricing.

How many people can be included?

Usually it includes Mom & Dad to be. We can include furry kids as well if you like.

When should I book my session?

Maternity Sessions are usually shot around 32-35 weeks along.

Beach portrait sessions book very fast for the Summer or “In Season” dates (May to November). It is recommended that you book your session once you book your vacation dates.

Where will my session take place?

I prefer to shoot at a location near you. Depending on where you are staying I can recommend a beach access. That is usually anywhere from Destin to Rosemary Beach. Depending on my schedule I will occasionally shoot in Navarre, Pensacola, Gulf Shores, Panama City Beach all the way to Cape San Blas.

Please chat with me about locations BEFORE you book to confirm my schedule allows for me to travel.

What time of the day do you shoot?

I only shoot on the beach at Sunrise or just before Sunset. The actual time of the session will depend on the time of the year you will be here.

These times are to maximize the use of natural light. These times are the best times of the day to take photos on the beach. We are limited due to the very BRIGHT and HOT sun that reflects off the water and white sand. Doing sessions on the beach at any other times during the day would cause very bright photos and A LOT of squinting.

What to wear?

After you book, you will receive a “Pre Session” Questionnaire. This will help me get to know you prior to the session. By completing the questionnaire, this will enable me to create “custom coordinating outfits” for your style that includes direct links for ease of purchase.

After you book there is also a “Client Guide” with tons of tips & tricks for preparing for your session as well as links to great places to shop & sample color palettes.

The most important tip: Be YOU and have FUN! This is your chance to bring out your inner fashionista or show your casual side. Simple and clean is splendid, fun and funky is fantastic. And of course shoes are completely optional.

***Note: I know clothing is a very important factor in determining the overall look of your portrait session. If you have any questions at ALL regarding clothing, I would be more than happy to discuss your different options and my preferences with you.***

What about hair & make-up?

If we are shooting on the beach PLEASE remember that it’s ALWAYS windy on the beach. I STRONGLY suggest leaving hair & make-up to the pros. They are used to the beach wind & humidity and not to mention its a great excuse to get a little bit of pampering before the session. In the “Client Guide” which you get after you book there will be a list of local ladies that I highly recommend.

I STRONGLY suggest to take make the time to get hair & make-up done for any photo shoot.

I'm so nervous, will you give me pose ideas?

Absolutely! In fact, that’s what I’m known for!

I will give you tons of ideas and directions throughout your session to help you feel at ease. I will coach you along and make you feel like the beauty queen you are, but don’t be surprised if I ask you to walk towards me like you are on a catwalk or give me your ‘soft smile’ aka smirk! (I warned you! ;))

What if I need to reschedule my session?

I understand that unexpected things come up. If you need to reschedule, please call me as soon as possible. If you are sick, it is better to go ahead and reschedule your session. The session fee can be transferred towards another session on another date as long as you re-book within 12 months from your original appointment time as schedule allows.

What if it looks like RAIN?!?!?!?!?!?

Shhhhh we don’t say that word around here it’s always sunny in Florida & Texas! Right?

It’s a less than 90% chance of rain at the location we will wait till just before session to see if it’s actually raining. If it’s a 100% chance of rain I still wait till 2-3 hours before the session before calling it off. I have had MANY MANY times that we have called off the session at Noon and then at 5-6pm it was gorgeous on the beach and raining inland. If it does happen to be raining during your session we will figure out the next best time for both of our schedules before you leave to go home. That may mean getting up at sunrise (I know that is usually VERY early but it’s gorgeous & cooler than sunset).

If for some reason we can not reschedule during this visit your session fee is transferable to another date within a year of our original date scheduled.

What can I expect to see after the session?

In 2-3 weeks, your images will be ready.

How does the “Online Gallery” work? I will upload your 30+ edited images with a watermark on them. You will have 15 days to make your purchasing decisions. If you are having a hard time deciding you can schedule a Zoom design meeting with me to go over images & see images on your walls. I do charge $200 extending gallery fee, please make your selections before the gallery expires.
How does the Zoom design meeting work? I will have the 30+ edited images ready for you to see. I’ll share my screen with you via Zoom & use a specialized software to showcase how collections will accurately look displayed inside your beautiful home on your walls (This is why I ask for you to take photos of your walls). This added feature of the selection process solidifies that your vision will become a reality and will give you confidence of your choices.

Will you edit the images?

After your session the images will be color corrected, brightness adjusted & have editing. If you have a scratch or “boo boo” on your face I will try to edit that on the close ups.

I will NOT photoshop your hair in every photo to make it look like you’re not on the beach…There is wind and I’ll try to position you in the best possible way to avoid crazy hair. I will not make your tan lines disappear, if you know you are having photos made pick out a shirt that doesn’t show them OR wear a different bathing suit.

BUT if you order a photo from me to be printed I WILL tweak it for you. If you want smoother skin, to shave off a FEW inches, erase a few fly-aways I CAN AND WILL DO THAT but there is an additional charge PER photo to do more in-depth editing. The cost will all depend on what you would like done & to how many images. If you are interested in additional editing this is something we will discuss after the session once you see your images.

Session Fee is transferable to another date within a year of originally booked date. I try my hardest to get sessions re-booked within the time you are in town. This is why I need a good cell number to call you at while you are in town, just in case we need to rearrange our session.

Payment plans are available for the print order.

Born in New Orleans and raised in the south. I met my husband in Dallas, Texas and shortly after moved to the Emerald Coast. We are very blessed to call the Destin, Florida area home for over a decade.

Ever since I can remember, I have always had a camera in my hand and knew early in my life that photography was my destiny.
